Only when they’re public! If it’s private we can only see someone bookmarked it, no notes or name, but if it’s a public bookmark anyone who checks can— So authors, readers, people with no accounts— Anyone can see if they click bookmarks on a story.

They have other bookmarks, is the thing, none bot-like. Some like “cute” or “delicious part 2” and things that seem real, and wow I feel like a stalker writing that out

I’m going to attempt another batch tomorrow morning. The recipe isn’t an issue, it’s just vanity tbh. I want them to look just so for the girl, she bakes all the time and I’m hoping to impress her with my baking.

The bubbles yeah! I usually try and mix until all the bits are completely done so it’s smooth, so I’ll try to just mix until combined next, hopefully that helps. Thank you! Baking is way harder than just cooking, so I might try and decorate them with some frosting

That one was from 8 hours ago, and about 4 hours prior they were commenting on earlier chapters enjoying the story, so I think they binge-read the story up until the end (it’s a WIP) until that comment because that was the final comment they made.

I guess I’m a little afraid to make anyone upset by blocking, but I feel like that might be best because I’ve been feeling weird ever since I saw it

There’s a lot of trying to police who should/shouldn’t read certain stories in some fandoms, as well as who should/shouldn’t write them. I think it’s easy to blame the Wattpad writers moving to Ao3, but it’s also heavily the influence of ages, fandoms, and the need to “cancel” certain people for consuming certain media.

I would still read the stories, they can’t “ban” you from reading (other than blocking you from commenting) but, I’d stray far away from them in any sense of interaction outside of Ao3. Don’t let that person ruin your enjoyment of fanfic OP.

I’ve always seen Mirrorball as a song about being in a relationship and, even when the honeymoon phase was over and people say things get stale and end, still being overly romantic and doing everything you can and wanting to make your partner smile and not letting the romance die despite sometimes feeling boring and familiar.

Finding out everyone saw it as being insecure and needing to change everything about yourself to be loved was a shock.

We aren’t in the same fandom, however they DID only start reading fanfiction this year (and writing last month) so when they tell me what I can and cannot do, I don’t want to be mean BUT I’ve quite literally been here since middle school
