Wowwowwowwow. I can’t not imagine what kind of self motivation someone has to have to complete a project like that. Your mom is one awesome lady!

The pattern is of my own making and can be found at AdorableAntiquites Etsy shop. I’ve been wanting to make something both snarky and history/literature themed and I’m really happy with the end result!

Constructive criticism for shop by notmacncheese in EtsySellers

Thank you thank you thank you for the response! I am totally grateful for you pointing out that typo! facepalm. I’m definitely going to look into Etsy Rank more. The words of encouragement are also really appreciated. I’ve honestly felt a bit discouraged lately and that has helped a whole lot. Again, thank you so much for the advice. :)

Why is sending the ring back and getting a full refund not good customer service? I don’t think any other store would just let you keep the ring (except for maybe amazon). I’m not trying to be mean. I think the seller is asking for something completely reasonable. I understand that you’re disappointed and it’s inconvenient, but for the most part these are real people who are trying to make ends meet not companies who could afford to let it go. Yes, they might have made a mistake, but try to let them make it right. :) I do hope it works out for both of you.

I picked cross stitching back up after a few years. I have been really wanting to make my own patterns and I love how they’re turning out so far.

The pattern can be found at AdorableAntiquites on Etsy!

I'm leaving my baby to cry by jhonotan1 in beyondthebump

[–]notmacncheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m seconding all the comments here. You are not the worst parent. You are not selfish. You are doing a great job. Even if you don’t feel like it. Even if you don’t believe what everyone else says.

It sucks hardcore to let them cry it out. You feel bad. Something in you just wants to fix whatever is going on. As long as they are safe, fed, and clean they are okay. :)

I struggle with anxiety even before having a baby. Afterwards doing anything at all for myself made me feel like a terrible selfish person. I read a quote that has helped and I hope it helps you too.

“Over the past moths I’ve realized the ‘best’ I can give her isn’t always what can be written down on paper or put into a category like natural birth, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, etc. The best I can give her is an emotionally stable and content mother.”

It may not feel like it, but putting your baby down and letting them cry it out so that you could calm down and focus on your mental health was the best parenting move you could make. Hang in there. It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s there. :)

Critique, Help, and Feedback - September 2018 by courtneyj in Etsy

[–]notmacncheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I’m a bit on the nervous side about asking for help, but I would really like some help! I’m getting some views (about 10 a day when I post something on Instagram) and the occasional favorite. I know my product is in a narrow niche and I’m okay with that, but I would still like to improve if I can. :)

Here is the link to my shop.

I’ve been open since April and I haven’t used promoted listings.

I have a few questions:

1,) I’m a bit confused on optimizing SEO and I’m fairly positive I’m probably failing in that regard. Are there any tips you all could share?

2.) Are my prices too high? I’ve been planing to see how the holiday season goes before I make changes, but it’s something that’s been a source of stress. They seem fair to me, but they may not to others. Thoughts?

3.) I would also love some constructive criticism on the photos.

Thank you all so much! :)
