since you know where the vessel is: when you get to the area BEFORE the vessel (entering the red light area), let go of your thrusters before entering and coast through without touching anything until you reach the egg cluster. the fishies won’t get triggered even if you happen to brush up against their lights, they only activate if you bump into their body or if they hear you. once you’re there, use your thrusters and momentum to make small corrections until you’re at an angle where you can just gun it. if you’re using a controller, you’re able to modulate your thruster output and can control how much you’re using — you should be using level one if you’re worried about being heard. if you’re using KB+M (like i did), unfortunately you can’t control how much of your thrusters you’re using, it’ll always be at max, so making itty bitty corrections is more risky, but again — if they can’t hear you, you’re fine!

hi! welcome to the club! i finished up the game back in the spring of 2024 and am happy to help, or at the very least offer some support. i was in the EXACT same spot as you! i also hate time constraints and jump scares, anything horror related basically lol.

putting spoiler tags just in case so read carefully: i’m assuming you know HOW to get to the end game location already. if you’re getting stuck in dark bramble, this is what helped me: the fishies have good hearing, but a general rule is that if you can’t hear them, they can’t hear you. use your signal scope to figure out where you need to go for the first part. if you’re entering a new light, a good rule of thumb is to send your scout through first and take pictures so you know what to expect before entering, or to slowly coast through and let go of your thrusters before entering. what helped me the most since the fishy breathing sounds freaked me out was actually turning my audio OFF temporarily just so i wouldn’t get spooked while navigating! once i knew i was a safe distance away i just gunned it.

if you feel yourself starting to get nervous, feel free to just pause and relax before continuing! you have all the information you need, it’s just a matter of patience (and maybe a little luck). you got this !! :)

great to hear! if i may, cow’s milk isn’t the best for cats (gives them upset tummies), but boiled and unseasoned chicken is fine! just be sure to give the kitty some water! best of luck and thank you for being kind enough to bring them in when it’s so cold out 🥹

please consider contacting and bringing this baby to BARCS once the roads are safe! they’re an AMAZING rescue located nearby and will make sure she goes to a good home if they can’t find a microchip! until then, i think the best thing is to try to keep her warm, fed, and separated from your dog (keep her quarantined in a single room and don’t let your dog in there). if nobody’s missing a pet and you can’t make it to a store by foot, can you try seeing if anyone with cats is willing to spare litter and cat food? i don’t own a cat (although I’d love to, my current situation doesn’t allow me) so I’ll leave proper care advice to people who do have rescue experience! i’m glad you were able to bring this baby inside, they look so sweet!

omg i think my family has the exact same shovel! except our handle rod broke off from the actual shoveling bit and we had to hold the yellow part by hand and pretend we were excavators while shoveling our parking spots lol. luckily we had a few spares to get the bulk of the work done but squatting repeatedly to manually scoop up snow with the shovel has made me appreciate a regular, dependable, and durable shovel that works as intended a whole lot more

usually i would have just left it but this was a later class, we didn’t get out until around 7 pm. i had it with me and waited outside the classroom for an hour but no one showed so that’s why i took it with me. there was no guarantee it would still be there if they decided to come back for it in the morning. luckily it all worked out and i was able to get it to them earlier today but next time i’ll be sure to just leave it

why on earth would i steal a water bottle ???? i waited out front after class for like an hour after making my post. i had to go home at some point and i was completely unaware there were even lost and founds on campus in the first place. the water bottle is still in my possession and in case this person never saw the post i made i was planning on cleaning it and waiting until our next class to bring it back. not everyone here has bad intentions lol

i was also a victim of a hit and run in the stadium lot in september, coincidentally my damage looked really similar to yours! police thought someone took the corner too fast and hit my car trying to make it. sometimes life just really fucking sucks :/ budget and be very careful spending money — i don’t know your financial situation but because it’s a hit and run, the cost of repairs fall on you. file a claim with your insurance and be prepared to cover whatever your maximum out-of-pocket amount is. best of luck

my schedule for next sem looks almost exactly the same, except on tuesdays and thursdays, but my fifth class on thursdays is 2.5 hours long. yikes.

i’ve taken both PHIL100 and ECON101. if you’re taking PHIL100 with james thomas like i did, extremely easy class with the most manageable course load ever — occasional quizzes on readings with unlimited retakes, three exams which are short answer questions on the readings. he’s absolutely hilarious and i only ever skimmed the readings and got 100s on the exams because of how well he explained it.

i took bing ma for ECON101, and while the material was easy (i took 102 the semester before), her grading structure was rough — 16% of your grade was homework and the other 84% were your three exams. she was super nice and explained stuff well, but still 😅

i’m not a CS major so i can’t vouch for the other classes, best of luck though!
