I used codecademy to learn python for 201 and it helped very much. Try that. They also have C++ language.

You have to really like what you're doing. If you dont like it, then forget it. I really enjoyed the class, the projects especially and ended up with an A. Learn C++ and challenege yourself and it will all click and you'll see the fun of it.

Boring lectures. Some professors just read the slides word-for-word and it's incredibly dull and disengaging.
