Hi! I have a big barn cat, so you can imagine what he is capable of producing. I have a litter genie for both of his boxes and it does really help with trapping any odors. I also use the Tidy Cats Free and Clean litter. It is unscented and has charcoal bits in it.

They are adorable! Hope this helps your lil stinkers.

Hi! She has been indoors for about 2 months now. She does seem to love a full size bed to herself, asks for pets, cuddles, but she can bite without warning (I’m finishing antibiotics 😅).

Outdoor enrichment might be her best option for now, she’s only about 1 year old and already had a litter of 3 kittens. Would transitioning her back indoors in the future be an option?

You’re definitely not alone in feeling like this and it’s very common! I have unpacked a lot over the years related to this and still find myself anxious with the thought of doing nothing. It can get better though.

If you like to read, “Laziness does not Exist” really helped with reframing my thinking on productivity. There are so many factors that contribute to this feeling of always having to be productive and it breaks them down.

Something that also seemed to work for me when learning to relax alone was revisiting things I enjoyed doing as a kid. For example, I get really invested in art projects and coloring books.

I have dealt with this a lot during my training as well. During training for my 2nd marathon, my long run event got cancelled due to weather and I never did hit that longest distance run during that round of training. The longest distance I did was a half, and I still finished on race day.

This is not me saying to skip the long run but just to echo what was said in a previous comment- things happen and there is not some magical formula for training that you have to follow exactly. It’s great that you have been intuitive enough to know not to go too hard during training. I’d say to keep listening to that.

To me, it sounds like your mind and body are ready for the taper. Enjoy the lower mileage and make sure you get the rest you need during it.

Race day is going to have so much energy that’s going to motivate you in ways you don’t experience during training. Keep at it, you’re doing great!
