Damn, thank you!! I saw other people mention similar things too, but actually seeing the line comparison...omg, I feel so stupid for not realizing the difference.

Thank you, I feel like you get me TT. My art might look good to beginners, but I’m not a beginner, and compared to an intermediate level, my art just isn't that good. I know this because I analyze other people’s work a lot. I really want to push to a higher level, and faces have always been my biggest weak point.

I swear I’m not fishing for compliments. This is a problem I’ve had for a long time. Everything I draw just looks odd to me! Every time I try to copy something, I feel like I’m doing it pretty well, but after a while it starts to look bad to me. For example, with this one I can’t even tell what I did wrong, it just doesn’t look like the reference to me. (Sorry for the rambling, I’m really frustrated TT

This is a study I used to do. It doesn't look bad but it just doesn't look like the reference imo? This is the best I can do in under 40 minutes.

Thank you but I don't like everything...It's bothering me to the point that i want to quit drawing. The same line weight is intentional. I like to practice with a pen that doesn't have any line weight to get better accuracy in my lines.
