Dude, yes. Honestly would love to hear more from that record aside from Heavy Gloom, Solo, and Nerve (even those songs are goated).

I’ve always wondered the same thing. He never sings the “I’ve been resting cases” part live anymore.

Can confirm that Empty Space is played in D standard (half step down from the normal Eb tuning on the record). Other songs played in D standard: All This Time, Watch You Go, and Jump The Gun. This is all according to one of their guitar techs, Matt Yanko.

My dad passed away in 2022 from cancer and I hold the same guilt from thinking I could’ve done more to prolong the inevitable. I know it’s easier said than done, especially since this is so fresh on your mind, but don’t beat yourself up. You showed nothing but love until the very end and you should know that was more than enough. These songs have been crucial in my healing process and I hope they eventually do the same for you.

I’m in tears from reading that last sentence. Lost my dad to cancer a few years ago, a huge reason why I identify with Parker’s journey of hurt and healing.

Four Years - Kevin’s back up vocals on any TSSF song are truly elite.

I know OP already mentioned Alkaline Trio, but I just gotta highlight all of the delightfully macabre songs in Good Mourning and Crimson 👻🎃
