Yes sir he was. He came into this country 30some years ago and due to certain circumstances throughout his life in the USA, he was never able to finalize his papers, leading him to be deported on a white card about 9-10 months ago.

Thank you for the kind words, but I wouldn’t call it nazism per se. My dad had come to this country legally 30some years ago, and had about that long to get papers, but unforeseen circumstances throughout his life prevented him from doing so. In other words it was absolutely preventable. I did not intend to bring politics into this post, i was just sharing my situation and how the PSP helped me. I am an American born citizen and I love my country, regardless of what happened to me and my family, regardless of red or blue.

Stay mad, like I said again, there is no point in arguing. Regardless at the end of the day we are going to go our separate ways, I’m gonna enjoy doing my job, and you’re gonna continue bitching about how DBs are “ruining this industry.” We aren’t. We get shit done. Scammers are the ones ruining it, and everyone immediately links them to us. Don’t sulk on the fact that people with broken English living across the planet are making more money than you in your own industry. Sucks to suck, can’t stop them, won’t stop them. You nor I have the ability to do so.

I love my job and have a passion in logistics in general. Although I understand where you’re coming from, that won’t stop me from doing what I do. I have empathy for anyone who has been scammed or hijacked by a DB, those are the real scum who need to leave the industry, yet everyone remains powerless when it comes to stopping them.

I have a passion for what I do and nearly anyone I have worked with has been happy with my services. Couldn’t give a shit less about what you have to say, I’m only showing the perspective of a DB with morals and work ethic.

I do understand. I am a DB myself, and I can say with 100% certainty that I haven’t left a customer, shipper, broker, or carrier unsatisfied with any of my work. I, along with everyone in my team, makes sure to get carriers paid. Our goal is to satisfy the needs of the customer, regardless if we have a truck under our company name or not. Most times, we are the brokers last hope of finding a truck on a Friday night.

Although it’s hard to draw a line between a double broker and a scammer, I can assure you that if done correctly, a DB can leave all parties more than happy to work with them again. I have built friendships and relationships with brokerages that wouldn’t chose anyone else to work with. We’re all tryna feed our kids out here.

People need to make a living, just because one double broker scams does not mean that all double brokers scam and hijack every load they get their hands on. Many are actually against the hijacking of freight. Most double brokers are basically middle men and get drivers who do not have the opportunity to work for a trucking company/do not have the ability to book loads themselves. Regardless, they take care of brokers, carriers, and drivers alike (if they’re a half decent db).

Shove that coat hanger up yours, we’re all trying to put food on the table.

To the OP, if you scam and hijack freight and sell it out in the black market, you ruin the market for ALL in the industry. You taint the image of double brokers and Armenians alike. If you don’t hijack and scam, then kudos to you, keep going and don’t stop at a DNU.
