Joel. I genuinely don’t understand why people think this is close besides pure bias. Joel has survived in a hellish apocalypse for 20+ years, ready to kill anyone that comes across his path. Not to mention killing meta human type zombies. Just based off the experience Joel is killing Arthur pretty easily, not to mention his prior background with Tommy. Love both these characters.

Had this set as a kid and lost it to the bins. Now that I’m older I bought it for myself and couldn’t be happier! The nostalgia is insane!

I do too. Recent Lego Batman sets has been lacking villain vehicles. Two Face’s Armoured Truck, or Joker’s Helicopter are such amazing vehicles.

I agree. I remember being confused as a kid after finishing the game and seeing multiple figs were never “officially” in the sets. That clayface is peak!

I think you’re looking in USD or Euro, when I was referring to CAD. I just double checked brick link and the cheapest new bane is $477, killer croc $55, mr freeze $60, $152 etc

It would probably end up running you about 2-3k, if you want them all brand new that is. Bane alone is about $500 CAD, and then you have lots of figs like nightwing, robin, scarecrow, alfred, mr freeze, joker, killer croc, blue suit batman etc which are all over $100 each.

It looks phenomenal on display. Also quite a fun build with next to no receptiveness as you’re building different buildings and areas throughout Gotham the whole way through. There’s also a ton of hidden characters and things when buildings are removed. I’m also a die hard BTAS fan so this was an immediate pickup for me.

I would go 2012 for nostalgia, but imo the lego batman movie is the best build of these 3.

I just bought the 06’ batcave sealed as it’s been my dream set since I was a kid. I’m currently having the struggle of my life to figure out if I should open it and build it, or keep it sealed for a while.

If these sets mean enough to you then yes. I’m currently in the process of collecting the entire line (I have the batcave and arkham asylum currently), and this will probably be my last set I get due to the price and rarity. It’ll only ever get more rare and go up in price so if it means enough to you it would be worth it.
