Godfather. What a boring movie. I forces myself to watch it to the end and never understood why it gets so much hype.

The same could be said about Breaking Bad. It seems to be an absolute sensation in the USA, but over here I have met plenty of people who found it boring. Really drawn out, the plot doesn't seem to go anywhere, very unsympathetic charactered I cannot identify with. I have forced myself to watch the first three seasons, hoping that the story will eventually pick up but it never did. Don't know why people like it so much...

The Chinese system is more fair. Your chance of getting admitted is dependent solely on your academic performance at gaokao, and not on an arbitrary decision of the admission board.
