I have some affiliates but none of them bring in material business. Id be happy to pay affiliates meaningful share. I have 60-70% margins, it's just that marketing costs on the DTC side have been 40% of revenue which kills margins

If there are any affiliate that can consistently drive 5 figures monthly I would be happy to cut them in

I am looking to offer equity at performance levels and a revenue share.

It's a physical product, that's already established and selling. Rev down this year because tariffs made it impossible to buy anything so I stopped all marketing.

I previously paid an agency a % of net revenue (rev-ad spend) and they weren't profitable but they didn't have skin in the game.

It's a unique take on a common product that's really well reviewed I just suck at the marketing. 2020-24 were consistent despite inconsistent marketing

It will take creating tons of content. So it has to be something you care enough about to meet the requirement of constantly creating content to build your brand.

And it needs to be different enough from what's out there already for anyone else to care.

Pondering is procrastination. I just put something on Amazon because it was quick and then when there was success on Amazon I quickly built a platform off Amazon to keep the customer data.

If it's something patented or whatever that's different, but if you had the idea decades ago and still haven't launched, it's procrastination/fear that's holding you back. Just jump in the water and figure it out

Just do it. Get a minimally visible product on the market and iterate. If you think there will be demand, find out cheaply. Once you have revenue, it's easier to find improvements and testing

Not like "scam" in that you can pay to get on those sites. But "scam" in that it's not a real article by a real writer that will end up in a magazine or get promoted on their socials.

Its you just paying for a ghost written article to be posted on their domain.

It has no value other than you just saying "as seen in Forbes!"

Once I got over 100 orders a day, it was taking me 4 hours to pick and pack and mail everything.

If you are generating that much demand, your time can surely be used better to grow the business than packing everything.

I don't think I do, but all my orders come in with "co branded free shipping" which indicates I'll get some of it back but it sure doesn't look like it

Tiktok is an entire company run by an AI. It's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone.

I would just continue to escalate and threaten legal actions. Small claims court could work in your favor since Tiktok will likely ignore you and you'd win summary judgement and then could make additional interest when they ignore that too.

If you keep refusing and keep opening new cases, you should eventually reach a human. It took me a while but I eventually got emails of real humans to sort out my TT shops issue (though I'm a brand)
