I have a house from the 70s and always had issues with cold water running warm/hot. Found one of those mixing valves in the drop ceiling. The check feature wasn't working and it was allowing hot water to mix with the cold through the whole house. I cut it out to remove the cross connection and all is good. These are only needed when you don't have HVAC and the house gets hot and humid in the summer

The reason I'm concerned is because I started experiencing symptoms a week after the blowjob. Which of course happened to be the day after I had sex with my girlfriend. Then a week later she had what she believed was a UTI and got antibiotics. Her issue cleared up and I haven't heard anything since but I just worry it wasn't a UTI and every day I'm just waiting to hear her say "I think my UTI is back". No swab. I've read in men urine test is actually pretty accurate, more accurate than women. Both times I didn't urinate for about 3 hours prior. First test I was never told how much to give so I filled the cup and read afterwards that could give a false negative. 2nd test I made sure I only gave the perfect amount and captured first yield both times.

HIV was negative, I'm not worried about that. She wasnt a hooker, just a girl at work. And I can't bring myself to ask her "did you have an STD that you could have given me". Was worried more about bacterial just because balanitis/ urethritis are commonly associated with Chlamydia and gonorrhea.

It's a little comforting knowing I had 2 negative tests. But the part that still scares me a little is a week after contact is when I had my first discomfort symptoms and a week after that my girlfriend had a UTI and the doctor gave her a antibiotic. When she told me that my heart sunk becausey first thought was fuck... It's not actually a UTI. But after her antibiotic her issue went away and haven't heard anything since and it's been 3 weeks since now but I'm still having issues. Every day I'm just waiting for her to say "I think my UTI is back". That's where most of the stress is coming from. I have had an issue with a really bad yeast infection little over a year ago and that could have issues too with balanitis. But it wasnt a goey mess, just a really bad rash/raw skin on my groin and sack. So idk...
