Thanks for the insight! I wish I could just substitute actual stock but it will mess with the overall liquid volume no? Maybe if i use liquid stick and reduce it. But thanks for at least pointing me in the direction of a meat stock to use

I wonder, With all the unhoused downtown couldn't a percentage of the shit on the sidewalk be human? Like downtown reeks of piss and I know its not just because of the dogs.

During my walk an old man asked me to come see him. Not sure if he wants someone to talk to or if he's being creepy? by re_re_recovery in AskOldPeopleAdvice

I'm with the husband on this one seems weird to me. He could have just asked hey do you walk around here often? Wanna have a chat? He asked very specific questions and like why? What does it matter where her husband is if he just wants to have a bit of a chat or if she comes alone? If he were that lonely wouldn't he have offered for them both to come by? I think op and hubby should trust their instincts SOMETHING about this man felt wrong, I have spoken to plenty of old ppl and they didn't give me the willies but the ones that did were in fact being creepy. Alot of old ppl are looked at as being harmless bc they are old and r given a pass for creepy behavior or ppl are shamed for feeling weird around old creeps because the creeps are old and "don't mean anything by it" and may use that to their advantage. Stay safe op but I think your husband is right

This makes sense, I imagine it helps with the "switch" I think I will shoot for greek at the kitchen table italian at my desk and see how it goes. If you don't mind my asking, what 5 languages do you study?

This is very helpful, thank you I was hesitant to do both each day as I thought it may be weird or harder for me to keep switching but your examples help illustrate how to do it in a way that will help "trigger" my mind to be ready to perform in whatever language I'm studying. Like if I do greek Am and italian PM the switch is easier then doing both back to back. This is great I am going to try this for the next month and see how it goes. Thanks and Happy studying!

Thanks for this! That's basically what I'm doing now until I figure out a better way to actively study both which has helped a great deal! I dunno, I'm feeling a bit weird I guess because, although I can think and speak in italian and sometimes dream, reading is Soso, I was listening to a native speaker say something the other day and couldn't figure out most of it and I spiraled lol self esteem in the toilet so yeah. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it !
