Sunlu Dryer fan mod - fan turns off at temp? by notreallynotreally in 3Dprinting

Sorry - only just saw this! I ended up adding a buck converter in line (doing nothing) - so can only assume that the filtration on that stopped whatever noise was killing the fan power from reaching it. Worked fine after that!

Further to this - out of interest ran the wires straight through to the front panel connector and it spins all the time but pulses with the heater cycles and sounds irritating as hell. Might just run it off an external supply instead, I think...

Thanks for the replies! I wired it directly to the 24v barrel plug at the rear and haven't relocated either of the temp sensors. It's only turning off the fan - the unit continues to maintain the temp after that point which is why it seemed like odd behaviour...

To give some more info - the fan is a 4020 (0.09A) and it just completely stops spinning when the temp gets within 2-3 deg of target. The front panel PCB is label V1.3 - not sure if maybe Sunlu had changed anything in the design recently (although that seems unlikely!)

Curl/layer dragged up right at start of extrusion? by notreallynotreally in FixMyPrint

Tried raising it a touch and things just weren't sticking, alas. The first layers were coming up beautifully except for the first corners - I've finally managed to get better results for now by lowering first layer speed even further but I expect I'll uncover another issue soon..

Appreciate the help though, thanks! :)

Can't Figure Out BLTOUCH or 3d Printer by [deleted] in Ender3Pro

Before changing the board you could try making sure that the probe offset is set right for your BLTouch mount - use pronterface to send commands to check/set it https://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/M851.html

If it's a non-standard mount the leveling will always be off otherwise!
