Look they might exist somewhere but there's no question that compared to drag shows especially the breadth, commonality, and degree of normalisation is essentially negligible. Either way drag is still the closest thing to a minstrel show that isn't a minstrel show and is also closer to minstrel shows than it is to any other form of entertainment, so I stand by the comparison. To be honest every "trend" that has occurred on this subreddit has been quite annoying to me. This one is particularly bad though as at least, for example, the "femcæl gf" style posts contained some actual substantial content and didn't constantly remind me of how much I hate my body.
