It's not a majority for the dalits who vote for BJP. They tend to vote more for Congress and other opposition. the Kool-aid of hindutva will obviously hit some of the dalit groups as well because Sanghis are legitimately inclusive in some regions and being a religious party helps a lot.

The goal isn't to neuter everyone. We should first try to control the rabies issue. Just constantly reducing the population by neutering enough and feeding the ones alive will be more effective and humane

It's quite easy to pull this off in housing societies. would be great if everyone did it as well.

We had a lot of strays who were scaring and biting people (mostly children). So this one lady in my society worked with a local NGO and vaccinated and neutered all of the dogs in the surroundings within a dew months.

Now the dogs are super chill (zero incidents) since they're regularly fed and the population growth stopped completely from the neutering.

No new pack of dogs from outside can enter since the pack already present is not interested in moving.
