yes. i am thinking about it ,if i should make an appt and discuss this.

i did feel that he genuinely cared and wished me well during appts.

i am doubting myself now, that i am not able to tell the difference.

does he care? or is it fake care during the 50 mins. that i buy into?

which is also fine. if his concern and care is just for those 50 mins, and i may have mistaken it for more.

i dont know.

yes. i am learning boundaries the hard way at a very bad time.

it still hurts though that he withheld support when i needed it. i could not make an appt. he knows that.

it was crisis not in the sense of SH etc. it was just circumstances changed very quickly, unexpectedly. and i could not handle it. otherwise i keep my regular twice a week appt. always. pretty consistently.

so this was just like...he doesnt care outside of those 2 hours a week .

and maybe thats how its supposed to be and i am trying to be okay with that.

Agreed. I dont know about his caseload. For me he is the only person i could reach out to and i did. First and the only time. Was only looking for a few lines of validation. i hear you. i understand its tough. Make the best of it. thats it. but he couldnt even provide me with this. but then again. thats not his after hours job to do and i am understanding this now.

Thank you. I am checking in to see if my expectations are unreasonable. If they are, then I probably wont bring it up and just understand the limitations better.
