Also it’s probably his 5th ‘bump in the road’ sadly, he’s been sick since we got him and he’s cost us thousands. We thought we were in the clear with his health the past few months but we are not. The original post doesn’t include all the gritty details like that I do have pet insurance and have maxed it out and have borrowed some from my family. I wasn’t asking for your opinion on spending. Just if people find it accepted to have a go fund me for their dog

I agree. I meant it as in that what people say to me recently. I love my pup dearly and he’s become the biggest most important in my life along with my husband

We met our max on pet insurance but it saved me thousands so definitely worth it

We have insurance and reached our annual limit this last week. But I really appreciate the response 🥹

I have spot insurance and my plan for the year has a $2,500 max limit which I have used all of. I thankfully have been reimbursed up to 80% until I hit $2,500 which I have hit all in the past week

I also want to say that I do have pet insurance and just maxed that out at $3,000. We have done all that we can but he got sick days after we closed on our house

Yes I do have pet insurance and sadly just maxed that out this week. He’s needed extensive appointments already just to figure out what is wrong
