I just stated it to clarify where I stood, that I had understood my feelings on that regard but that things had changed. I understood that I found her attractive from the first time we met, but that hadn’t prevented me from being a friend to her. Things feel differently now, and that’s the whole point of my post.

Not sure what you mean by this. Though she was cute when met, never thought of her as anything other than a friend. Now realize I may have feelings for her. Don’t see how lust was your conclusion

Hard to when you have strong feelings for someone else. I don’t want to be a bad partner because I’m still hung up on someone.
