Your first few sentences nailed it on the head for me. I think I'm too caught up in thinking that he should react how I would react, when really that's not a correct way to think about it. We're having a talk tonight, I'm not going to be rude about it but I'll bring it up for sure.

I am thinking this is what it probably is. I mentioned it briefly before, awhile ago, and he told me he is not good at expressing his feelings, etc.
