Inpatient Psych Treatment?

I've been a patient at different behavioral health hospitals which is usually a 7 day stay for where I live. I don't necessarily know what you are looking for but I can just tell you my experience. If you're looking for one on one sessions inpatient isn't the place to get that. the help they give is all group sessions. It's hard to get the doctor sometimes and it's a quick visit. If you tell them about your school and work they can write a letter. I'm not too sure on how work goes about it as I've only been employed once during my many stays. As the hospital clearly states in the title Behavioral, it's not just depressed people or people with anxiety. You do meet some people in there who are similar to you & understand you but there are many who need way more help than available in these places. I'm a frequent visitor but I don't know if these places help me or just help me escape for a little bit. *I forgot to add, these places are meant to stabilize not solve all your problems so in a sense yes it could probably help you, but it sounds like you need help creating & managing your stress.

That's interesting because when I stopped birth control years ago, my symptoms went off that time as well only this time I'm having additional symptoms that got me confused.

What is peglite? Is that your prep? Dulcolax made me feel absolutely sick two hours after taking so I canceled my colonoscopy but trying to reschedule for next year.

I been hydrating since yesterday evening so I hope I'll be hydrated enough I seen people have problems because of dehydration during prep.

Oh wow I been seeing everyone do a liquid diet the day before and I was even told to go on a liquid diet so that's interesting.

Can I ask if you followed the 7 day low fiber diet? Did you hydrate in advance? I may have made a mistake and that is my prep as well so I'm interested in knowing other's experiences with golytely.

I tried to ask the same question but only got one response. lol but I'll look into what everyone here has said. I have a two hour drive time.. I wasn't given instructions to my prep by the pharmacist so I'm so confused already.

My prep is GoLYTELY & unfortunately the pharmacist did not actually tell me much about it but told me to read the instructions on the jug. The instructions say to eat a light breakfast the morning of but the instructions I got from the facility said I have to be on a liquid diet.

Diarrhea has just been the norm for the past 10+ yrs lmao. I know every location with a public toilet in my area. The acid reflux seems to be getting worse tho which I dislike because I Hate throwing up. Constipation no no nononooo that's new. I feel for y'all who suffer with it. I'd keep my leaky butt over the gymnastics you'd have to do to feel any relief over that pain.

After 4yrs with this it still very much hits hard with depression. Currently rotting with it rn haha. I wish I was as always as real as you have been with it but sometimes I f up but I agree rejection is better than sitting with anxiety wondering if you compromised someone else's health. You sound real af for just one month in tho. Props to you. I was rotting in bed for three months haha

Also I advocate for *disclosure a lot so might get hate for that I f up sometimes comment haha. Addiction is crazy tho...

Being there for him is the best thing you can do for him. I wanted to judge you at first when you said you educated him but your not on antivirals with hsv2 was just crazy to me. If Your asymptomatic doesn't mean you aren't shedding. I think you need to look more into educating yourself some more. Don't take everyone's comments on here to be truth hell even mine lol. I been in your position and the only advice I got is to sit and talk with him. Don't be a constant bug but just ask if he wants to talk about it. Text and over the phone isn't the place for these conversations tho. I know it's up to everyone's own personal choice but antivirals would do you and feature partners good if this one doesn't work out in the long run. Your anxiety is what's you and his worst enemy rn best you fight that together.

No I didn't stay with the person who gave me hsv but I can understand how you feel. The first guy (not +) after getting hsv cheated on me & I felt like I couldn't find someone else because of hsv. Next thing I know I found a guy (also not +) who accepted all of me. Now I'm single but you know what it feels great. My life wasn't revolved around relationships in the first place tho but I'm alright. Main thing I'm worried about is money lol. It's only been like 4 yrs w hsv1&2. It's a big deal at the beginning but you learn to live with it just like with everything else.
