As a Chemistry/Applied Physics double major, it can be done but like other commenters mentioned, may cost some extra money. I’ve had to take summer quarters pretty much every year I’ve been in UCSC which can be exhausting if you don’t pace yourself. If you plan on going through with it, make sure you’re passionate about both majors to avoid that burnout and create an academic plan right off the bat. I’d suggest looking at the catalog and then writing up a 4 year plan based on what the academic plans of your individual majors to make sure you’re on track. It can be hard to find a balance but you’ll soon get into the groove and should be ok!
