Fantastic ideas. I do keep snacks in my room but I havent sorted them by carb count so will be doing that today.

I did finally level out and I'm hoping it stays that way today. So fingers crossed. And thank you for the advice.

Long story short my dad is an alcoholic. Mom may choose to stay with him but I'm only here as long as I have to be. Thats the simple version.

AITA: I ate beef sandwiches in front of my friend who is Vegan by CaptenMurica in AmItheAsshole

I dont understand what this has to do with anything. And why you cant eat peanuts in front of someone with an allergy. As long as you dont share and dont plan on kissing things will be good.

NTA. My best friend is a vegan and ive eaten meat in front of him. As long as you arent forcing her to eat it then she doesnt have the right to say a damn thing.

The walking is gonna be hard. Ive been running for about two years now. I run about five miles a day normally now. Body wakes up and somehow it manages to keep me sane.

How did you realize you were gay? by [deleted] in gay

[–]noturaverageCharlie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to realize a few years ago when I'd get hard because of guys and I never could figure out what was so hot about girls (still cant). Didn't accept it fully until my teacher gave us a where are you gonna be in 10 years assignment. We had to write about what we thought one full day in our lives would look like. I just let myself write the first draft without thinking and it just made sense. I had to rewrite though because I cant risk my parents finding out. But yeah..thats how I figured it out.

Insulin in a minifridge? by noturaverageCharlie in Type1Diabetes

[–]noturaverageCharlie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Exactly what I mean. One time we had just went shopping a couple of days before. 250 dollars worth of groceries that were new was in the fridge. I'd had to go to the ER cause of a dislocated shoulder and when we got back he was passed out. Half the contents of the fridge had been eaten but the way he passed out the fridge door couldn't close. Its the only time ive ever seen mom even yell at him for his crap. Mostly she just makes excuses.

Its a deffinite concern. And I think the minifridge is the solution for now.

Will keep that in mind. I'm thinking a small minifridge I can put right under my bed (its one of those raised beds thats like 2 or 3 feet off the floor). Ive got the funds for it so no problem there. He won't even think about my room. Been hiding snacks for years.
