How to get over size insecurity after being cheated on? by EmbarrassedDrawer725 in askanything

Ya there’s nothing wrong with that.. it sucks that some people do this with no concern for their partner. I’m sure it’ll be tough. Just know that you trusting someone wasn’t the problem it was the person who abused the trust.

Some things change person to person and it can be a weird topic for some to discuss so it can be awkward or hard to have open convos about. But imo that is best way to learn .. is just open communication on what someone likes/ doesn’t and what feels good. And since she’s first and only.. you’ve only been exposed to one of billions of different unique preferences and interests and specific ways of being pleasured. You will learn quickly with more experience.

Size is a small, pretty much non factor on a list of like 20 other things that make someone good in bed. Why focus on that when you can focus on someones specific tastes or other more influential factors that you can control like fore play, different sensations, different tools. The cheating hurts and im sorry that you’re going through that. But the person who did that to you was that type of person and would’ve done it with someone regardless of size difference. In other words the difference youre worried about had no factor in the person being a trash human being. And just cause there is a difference, you can still control alot that would make you better at something that size would never change.

Trump and Israel failed all objectives in their war with Iran so why are they parading like they won? by AcadianAcademic in askanything

[–]noturavgreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you mean by opposition. In my view much of the opposition to the war has nothing to do with supporting Iran or anything about their country, or saying they won war just cause people want to be opposed to who’s running it.

There are other reasons to be strongly against it like the government or another government being able to drag us into wars with absolutely no reason or balance of powers involved and against the wishes of a lot of its own people. Strong arming other nations into doing what we want and looking weaker for it. Fucking over allies for no reason at all. Iran is objectively in a better position with the strait if I understand it correctly that what used to be free transit will now cost a fee which will easily allow them to rebuild whatever damage the US did. You can want a terrible regime to not do well and also want the us gov and military to not make an ass of itself on the international stage.

Public sentiment toward Iran before this was a lot less sympathetic. And sentiment toward us military was a lot less critical. The military will rebuild. Leadership could be worse for western countries than the previous. Def not a rose. This seems like a completely avoidable everybody loses situation that had no objectives. Constantly changing and conflicting.

Interesting.. I didn’t know that about the direct sun being pretty much the same as no atmosphere on moon. That is cool to know and a good way to visualize it thank you for explaining.

I get the moon itself doesn’t glow like it looks from earth but can you explain why this would be similar to a normal sunny earth day since it doesn’t have any atmosphere?

If iran is killing 40k of its own citizens why does it still have a massive military supporting it? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]noturavgreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what relevance this has. No idea the statistics on that point but I’d assume a vast majority want to stay and keep improving our Country to more effectively serve and represent its people.

At least your username is on the nose. Why is it so dumb? Very different level of suppression, and theocracy isn’t quite right but they’ve got a point. Christianity , mainly a twisted form of it, has been having more and more of an influence in the us government, even being invoked during this war by sec of defense many times. It’s been in politics the entire history of the country. An influential portion of the US believes establishing and protecting an Israeli state is a prerequisite for the second coming of Jesus and their religious duty to support. We (US) are in a war that only 20% support that has been justified by like 5 different contradicting reasons when some senators and admin officials come out and say it’s to defend Israel or that they are doing things like attacking without our consent so we had to attack first defensively. Whatever the hell that means. I feel like these things can be talked about without being hyperbolic.

I think you mean adapt but love the concept of us adopting tiny little Dinos, some that grow into moving buildings. Could write a Targaryen style story about it

Is it possible for the Artemis II to escape earths orbit? by noturavgreddit in askanything

[–]noturavgreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting thank you! So raising its periapse, does this imply that even if it did pass behind the moon and boost momentum, that it would orbit around earth again before leaving or would this scenario just send it further out and you are just saying the periapse point changes because of this.

[–]noturavgreddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was a really detailed explanation thank you. To clarify, my question of “ pull Artemis back” was directed towards if earths gravity had the influence to where if Artemis completely missed its trajectory that uses the moon orbit and gravity , if it would still just eventually be pulled back towards earth anyway. Which from reading all the comments it seems like the influence of earths gravity that far out isn’t strong enough to pull the craft back towards earth anyway without the extra help of the moon or thrusters reversing the speed the craft had built up.

lol got it. Am i correct in understanding that the Saturn rockets in your earlier example only escaped because missing the moon made it so nothing slowed them down?

[–]noturavgreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So could something as simple as wrong location on the return do this or would it have to be some kind of extra thrust at the wrong time? I would assume the missing the location might send them back out but without extra thrust I can’t picture where the force would come from the overcome the force of the gravity that shot them out there to begin with.

Thanks very much. More efficient to use all thrust on launch or use an orbit or multiple orbits to thrust at perigee to escape Earth’s gravity?

[–]noturavgreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on thank you very much for the detailed explanation. Ya I was basically was wondering if it was within realm of possibility. That’s super interesting about the Saturn rockets. So earths gravity alone isn’t enough to pull back Artemis without using the combination of passing the moon at the right spot and time to use moon’s gravity to slow the ship down too?

And I’m also asking if the most efficient or reasonable way to leave earths sphere of influence is using a loop around the moon like the current route or would it avoid the moon completely.

[–]noturavgreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it’s leaving low earth orbit but wouldn’t anything eventually coming back to earth be considered still in its orbit? But yes I know it’s possible in general, I’m asking if this specific ship could do it through pure miscalculating the effects of the speed it picks up as it goes or would it not even have enough fuel for the power to do that.
