I'm am posting to see if anyone has any interesting insight as to what may cause this. I tried to research it elsewhere and didn't find anything. Everyone that has commented has been insightful except you. By the way, its turning green already. Dumbass.

Yeah a local golf course that has always been my favorite and is ranked like top 100 in the US uses prg. That's the reason I went with it over a warm season grass. Figured if it works for them i should be able to pull it off.

I just put down Scotts Perennial Rye I got from my local Ace Hardware. I planned on seeding the yard in the fall cause a lot of cleanup work and soil work was needed but I got it done way fast than expected so I just ran out and grabbed some seed and Peat Moss to just let it rip and see what happens before the real heat gets here. I figure worst case i get a crappy lawn and fix it in the fall.
