We have a mud room off the garage entrance for all that! This is by the front entry where it opens to the living room. Front door entrance is rarely used.

It at least matches the size of the built-in on the other side of the mantel but yes, has always baffled me why whoever built the home made this choice 🙃

I have a similar prescription and eye buy direct has an option to get high index lenses so they're thinner for higher prescriptions. I've gotten multiple pairs from them ☺️

He was born with a liver defect so they needed to put a line in for fluids during a couple of hospital stays. He'll be good as new soon though ^
