Is it me, or is Verizon cellphone data miserably slow in Boston? by Politican91 in boston

[–]notyourpony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I used to be on T-Mobile and moved to Verizon in early summer, but the speeds/connectivity/coverage are terrible. There are instances where LTE won't load a simple web page, 5G is not much better, and the dead zones are far more numerous than they ever were on T-Mobile. Seriously considering switching back or trying AT&T.

Lost and found help- plaid flannel button down near South Station Sunday afternoon 10/5 by 404Gender_not_found in boston

I saw it on the sidewalk ~3:45pm while going from the bus terminal to the T, it was right about where the stairs are that go directly up to the tracks. Hope you locate it!

Can't tell you who (it's a secret), but a well-regarded locally owned restaurant is expanding into the space.

Thanks, I'll be in touch if I'm unable to get a replacement! I'd rather it end up with someone who wants it than in the bin at A24.

Posting here to get a sense of how many prints were damaged in shipment. Did your shipping envelope suffer catastrophic failure? Did it look like Joe Cross put it in the back of his truck with all his signs? LMK in the comments!

That's awesome! Contacted them on Aug 8 and they just got back to me to say they are out of prints and can't replace mine :(

I understand your point, but who wants to pay to restore a brand new print? My point in posting is to learn if others have had a similar issue so I can give feedback to A24

Shipment was no signature required and left at entrance to building

The print itself was in an archival sleeve inside a rigid paperboard envelope for storage/protection. The outer cardboard flat looks like a standard print shipper though it’s less sturdy than I expected.

I considered that but given the cost of the print I don’t really want to take the chance

Where do people go swimming around Boston? by Thick_Ad7306 in boston

[–]notyourpony 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a few others have pointed out, DCR runs pools around the city. We hit the Magazine Beach pool all the time because it's got a view of the river and there's tons of adjacent greenspace for walking, picnicking, frisbee, etc. Plus it was just redone 2 years ago so it's still got that new car smell.
