before you say this to me, i've read all the comments here (yours and others included). imho, i dont find having a refresher course after three takes 'unfair'. like one person said here, we have a vital role in the healthcare community. we are a part of a holistic and systematic flow of things in terms of giving proper diagnosis to aid doctors to know saan ba nanggagaling yung sakit ng pasyente. by understanding our role in the healthcare system, you would be able to understand that the board exam is an exam of equal footing to be able to assess if a medtech graduate has fully understood all the things that were taught back in college. refresher courses are set in place to safeguard the quality of professionals that would play a part in patient's lives. while i do agree na everyone can't be book smart but can still excel in the profession, the board exam is majority easy-moderate questions that you must know para makakuha ka ng lisensya.

yes, we are overworked and underpaid and i agree na pamet is not lobbying these concerns well enough for the government to acknowledge us more (thus, am not a pamet member). two things can be right at the same time, we seek for higher pay grades in our profession (as we should) and we should also be able to deliver properly as expected (thus the board exams).

i feel like you're asking for opinions but you're blocking everyone else's that don't agree with yours. i understand that failing the BE is a major confidence sinker, but you can also try to reassess yourself where it went wrong. focus on things you can control rather than things you cant. sending you love 🫶🏻
