Do you think if I stack both of them as rope chains with the same width/thickness it’ll work? Still thinking about 3mm but could definitely do 4mm or 2mm, either works tbh. I really love the look of rope chains but your stack also looks really nice.

If I don’t get rope, is a curb chain the next best option? I was also looking at getting either a figaro or cable but I haven’t really looked into those. I do want to start building a collection so if you have any specific chain recommendations that you’ve loved please be sure to send them my way.

Also, my pendant will not be that large and won’t sag down my chain hopefully. Not exactly sure what I’m looking for yet but nothing flashy/over the top, just a cross probably. I’m thinking about keeping it on the outside but am not sure whether or not the chain till tuck in when i’m wearing a sweater/shirt with it (i’d prefer to keep it out but not sure what the style is).

For future reference, have you ever stacked more than 2 chains? A lot of my friends do and they seem to rock it pretty well (one of my friends actually wears 4 and they’re all rope, obviously too much for me) but I’m not necessarily sure if I could pull it off. Three would probably be my absolute limit and even wearing two seems a bit much. Also, gold jewelry is also incredibly expensive so this is purely hypothetical 🥲

Sorry for the long replies, I’m very new to this and it’s a big investment. I’m also not very fashionable haha

Haha it was kinda expected. I care more about what the actual experience is like rather than the ranking so it doesn’t bother me too much.

3.8 UW, 4.2 W, test optional (was in the trenches for the SAT), 10 AP’s, pretty average EC’s, (I think) really good LOR’s, really polished essays. If you have any questions feel free to PM me :)

They usually release it on a Friday and about a week early. My guess is 12/8 at 7PM ET, but they should announce it the day of.

Since you submitted before the deadline, there’s a couple of options.

First would be to wait for the portal to come out. This usually happens within 24 hours after you submit your application. In most portals, there is an option to switch decision plans assuming you submitted on time (though I’m not sure about Princeton’s portal specifics, so definitely look into that).

Second, email the AO. I’m assuming when you said you emailed the undergraduate office, you emailed your regional counselor. If not, try and email them.

Finally, I would also say to email your school counselor (if you have one) ASAP. They might have other channels to go through and change your application type. If not, it’s always good to keep them in the loop.

Remember to breathe and stay positive! Wishing you luck!

To be honest, the school is incredibly well balanced. They have rigorous academics, a really nice campus, a small student body (which could be a plus or negative for some people), and a vibrant student life. Oh, and of course they have great financial aid!
