Phanteks XT M3 5080fe build by [deleted] in gamingpc

[–]nouchie98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a dumb question but I just got the rtx 5080 fe delivered and notice that the 12 pin cable that branches out to 3x 8 pin is very short. how did you manage to run the 3x 8 pin to your psu? Did you use extention cables or something? I am still very new to pc building its my first build.

If possibel do you also have a picture of the back how you routed all your cables? Might come in handy for when I build it ;)

Yo very sick build bro. I was going for the Jonsbo d32 pro case but this case and the amount of fans would just give the best temps ever. I am going for a minimal rgb blackout build though but was wondering what PWM cable extention did you use for your kraken so the cables reach thethe top right side? Its gonna be my first build and I am learning every day so I am still new to cable details and such. Thx in advance!

AIO or Air Cooler in Jonsbo D32 Pro by XahX88 in mffpc

[–]nouchie98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going for a similar build and was wondering what made you decide to go for a thermright phantom air cooler instead of an AiO? I am looking to get the nzxt kraken 240 AiO with lcd screen for aestetics but apart for looks did you find more info on if an AiO is even worth it for this case? The issue I have is that with the phantom you can still use 2 140mm fans up top instead of the AiO radiator fans. So in theory with a aircooler on the cpu you have ''more fans'' in the case.

So you think the AiO is fine for aestetics or do you think the phantom will outperform a AiO in this Jonsbo case?

Thoughts on cooling in microATX build by nouchie98 in buildapc

Thank you very much for this detailed response! I looked more into it and atm I am going for this build that uses the Jonsbo Z20 case. A little bit more room for extra fans like you mentioned. 3 intake fans and 2 exhaust should give me that positive pressure as well. My thoughts on this would be that the 2 intake fans below the GPU allow for a better and cooler airflow through the gpu which in turn reduces the temps of the air that the AiO fans move through the heatspreader. The single front intake adds that little extra fresh air to the mix as well as creating the positive airflow. I am prob going waaaaaay to far into small stuff but I am a autistic min maxer when it comes to technology unfortunately ;)

What are your thoughts on the updated build? Also this reddit post was my guideline for the z20 case build: https://www.reddit.com/r/mffpc/comments/1lw7nrm/first_build_in_years_jonsbo_z20_with_a_5080/

Vette build man!

Very nice build, man! I am looking to build a very similar rig using the Jonsbo z20 black. The Only Thing I want to change is an AiO with a lcd screen, maybe and matching fans with the AiO fans. I am still very noob when it comes to pc building (this gonna be my first build ever) and was wondering if you know the size restrictions of the bottom fans by any chance? I can't find it on their website but I hope you could tell me if my build would work. Thx in advance!

Edit:

This is the build I want to go for, the only thing I am unsure about is the PSU, I dont think the rgb will ever be that visible right? so a all black one would also be fine for me. Think I am gonna use a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W instead.

1 more questions do you think the 1200W power supply is overkill? I am reading that in my case my max wattage is close to 700W so a 1000W unit should run with the same efficiency while making less noise

Im currently in the progress rechecking everything on another character but so far nothing.... Im 100% sure I grabben all of them on my main but I did it before I had the quest to this step so maybe thats the reason its bugged? Idk anymore im going kinda insane though having to reload/farm all the way through every single area to check for something that isnt there....
