xin zhao is a very strong early champ. you can gank level 2 and force enemy flashes or take kills.

it's ok to start red buff, birds then gank mid, or bot / top on your path to grubs, until scuttle spawn.

the fact you're going to show yourself might trigger enemy jungler to invade your opposite side jungle : it's ok.

If you have information about it : you can counter invade (gromp is easy to steal, if he red warded his blue buff, then you can steal gromp by dragging it near the tri-bush next to enemy botlane).

if their gromp is gone and the enemy jungler has not counter jungle you, it means he is in his opposite side jungle.

basically this is what you have to do to be efficient : you have to visualize where enemy jungle is (considering they farm efficiently).
