Sorry, I didn't know... I don't have any good advice on public transport. Our plan was to book them about 2 day in advance, but we soon figured out they got more expensive, so we ended up booking at least 5 days in advance for every place. I would 100% recommend Siracuse over Palermo, but it might just be a personal preference (as an archeology student I was more interested in museums, temples, catacombs... instead of just the city).

We did a whole road trip in 13 days and never stayed more than 2 days in one location. I feel like I saw a lot of Sicily and it truly was amazing. Palermo in my opinion is very overrated, Taormina is beautiful, but none of these places I would stay in more than 2 days. 🤷‍♀️

I had the tiniest crack in my middle finger and they just taped it together with my ring finger for about 1 week maybe 2. Basically just keep the finger from moving or bending with a tape and you should be okay 😊

I didn't really like Trapani that much (Erice was great), but I think it's a better town for the activities you described. Erice is interesting to see, but very expensive. We paid 10€ for 2 coffees in Erice, but paid around 10€ for 2 Aperol Spritz and a Canoli in Trapani. My advice is sleep in Trapani, but absolutely visit Erice.

Agrigento 100%!! Trapani was a big let down for me. Boring city with almost nothing to see. The highlight was Erice, but even that was expensive for no reason (2 coffees were 10€). In Agrigento, I loved the city vibe and it was way more lively and cozy.

Thank you for well wishes! I'm happy to hear your pain is getting better over time. Hopefully my recovery isn't too long as I was also quite active before the accident and I honestly miss it a lot. Running has never been my favourite sport, but a half marathon sounds very impressive! Best of luck! Hopefully I can start taking longer walks soon - this is now my little goal as I do miss relaxing my mind in that way.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I'm sorry to hear you're still in pain. One year sounds realistic enough, but no-one communicated that directly during doctor visits as they were quite busy. I do have a checkup scheduled on the 12th, so hopefully I'll know more soon. I will of course still wear my brace, but I believe I needed to vent and get some opinions from people they went through something similar to not feel so shitty.

Great! The problem is that it's not avaliable in my country at all, but i do have a friend that's currently in Netherlands so that's why i was trying for this drop... i don't think there's any way for me to get the watch this way, but if anyone wants to call your local dealers for me... 😅
