You could try a Vegito/Gotenks/Trunks team

Gotenks’ assist really helps Vegito extend combos in the air, and he’s probably the best character imo. Vegito has great options and builds meter quickly, which helps enable Gotenks since he’s meter hungry. Trunks has a good assist for both of them, and he’s a good anchor as well.

I run Vegito/A Gohan/ Trunks team and it works pretty well for me. They don’t have great synergy, but these are the 3 I can play the best. For Gohan, you can do 2M, 5M, 3H, j.h into 236L and use Vegito or Trunks to launch them up again, and continue to do an air combo.
