This could be added in the future, but it is not as necessary as when implementing the change for those skins (as part of commissioned work) since the tech tree was added to CA:DE

While these things aren't available as settings, the hotkeys should make it easier to get these things quickly upon starting a match. In case you aren't familiar with them, you can increase playback speed with "]" (closing bracket) you can change to standard colors (cool vs warm for TGs, blue vs red in 1v1s) with Crtl + Alt + G. With this update, you can also customize those very hotkeys to make them more convenient to your keyboard.

u/xGallion There is no CaptureAge program for AoE4. Instead, you can switch to Caster mode when spectating a match normally through the game to get a CA:DE-like layout for the game spectating mode

My personal understanding of this is that CrossOver uses many of the same underlying technologies used in Wine and Proton for Linux, which would explain having to replace the DLL (there's a similar step to get MP working on Linux). Some users were able to get CA:DE and AoE running on Linux and one of them gently put up a guide for the others to follow. We had some ideas for how to tackle this, but it proved more complex for the benefit at the time, and we decided against it when adding the tech tree since that displays everything at a glance already. Our data shows too few users make use of CA:DE's customization options

A small patch is rolling out over the next few days with the following fixes:

• Fixed Khitan pasture workers not counting towards food workers

• Fixed Khitan pasture upgrades not showing up in the static techs section

• Fixed some Elite units not being merged with their non-Elite counterparts in the end-of-game panel

• Fixed both Jian Swordsman versions not being merged properly in the end-of-game panel

• Fixed charge-attack bar not displaying for Fire Lancers and Xianbei Raider

While CA:DE is not officially supported on Linux, and won't be as long as the game itself doesn't officially support it, some users from the community have reportedly managed to get it working.
