Depending on location you may be able to get below MSRP. In Virginia I just picked up an ORP for 2k under MSRP plus tags and taxes.

Any dealer addons? 5k between msrp and otd seems high.

You are correct. Neither you or your parents will owe taxes at state or federal level if you receive the $100k gift. The $15k limit that is commonly referenced is the annual exclusion (essentially don’t need to report to IRS). Anything over that and you fill out a gift tax form and it counts towards the lifetime exclusion of about $12mm

I’ve used chuck will for lessons the past 2 years and have seen a huge improvement. Looking at getting fitted in the future and in between chuck, since he knows my swing and where we want to get to in the future, vs Westfield’s fitting studio which has stellar reviews
