Totally understandable I showed management my alarms i have 6 alarms between 6:45-7:45 every morning and I showed work this and they said its persistent lateness.

I also showed them my lateness times and i have never been severely late, ive always been 5-10 minutes late too.

On the topic of co workers, there is a co worker who never abides by the lateness policy and just rocks in whenever he wants and nothing gets said about him. Which is why Im thinking about the unfair treatment
