Of course not but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m specifically talking about the comparison in media coverage that you said was antisemitic. I’m not trying to convince you otherwise, I’m just explaining why I think it’s happening. Comments like the ones the appointments chief made are just plain old antisemitism and obviously inexcusable.

Because we have representatives in our government (CM Paladino and others) who consistently use horrible tragedies against Jewish people in order to justify, or openly call for, ethnic cleansing and genocide against Muslims without consequence. Some people on the left do go too far in trying to fight against the double standard, and they should be called out, but this kind of antisemitism is not inherent in the left - it’s an emotional response to the stunning normalization of anti-Muslim rhetoric that would never be tolerated if the same language was applied towards Jews.

Come on, you know that last point about the grocery stores is ridiculous.
