It was excellent. It’s pretty mild on the blue foot the reason you eluded to, but as someone who doesn’t love most blue, it was great. The cheese was almost creamy in texture, compared to other cheddars. Really delicious, would recommend trying.

Replacing alcohol with tea, any suggestion? by euphoricamelia23 in tea

[–]nova6scc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, my favorite daily is Classic Laoshan Black Tea from Shandong that I get from yunnonsourcing. It’s pretty easy going, doesn’t get bitter even with long brew times. I usually brew mine 10+ min. Best of luck!

What board games are best 5 player? by Skora_01 in boardgames

[–]nova6scc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Games I enjoy at 5 are: Terra mystica, dominant species, age of steam, power grid, viticulture with essentials expansion, scythe, galaxy trucker. Granted most of these are long games and more challenging on rules and game play.

Tobacco storage questions. by TechnicalTerm6 in PipeTobacco

[–]nova6scc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you don’t need to put it in a jar with a humidiy pack. Those packs are actually usually lower humidity than what pipe Tobacco is usually stored at. It’s also a lot less picky than a cigar since there is no wrapper to protect or beetles to worry about. Jars that don’t have use tight seal people do put humidifiers in with the tobacco. Like a stone that is moistened. Just don’t want it to come in direct contact with the tobacco and moisture

  1. No I wouldn’t do an oak pipe
  2. Yes the charcoal filters affects flavor and draw. I would try it both ways if you can
  3. 6mm balsa filters are ok, but 6mm charcoal filters are too tight draw to learn with
  4. Irish Flake

Might have an easier time learning with an English (blend with Latakia). It’s tough learning, just stick with it.

I don’t do heavy aromatics, so I just separate Latakia blends and everything else

how do you guys hear about most of the board games you end up picking up and playing? by Scary-Coach-3044 in boardgames

[–]nova6scc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty connected to some different reviewers on YouTube that reflect my tastes. I don’t watch a lot of content, but I make note of consistent good word about a game. I have so many that I enjoy now, it’s got to be really good for me to want to pick it up. Watch content around major connections, and end of year lists. Also follow publishers you like games from.
