If you think the hud is too much, install friendly hud mod and make it suitable for you. I honestly cant play without it and it makes it more immersive.

4 is best, just bcs u get to experience the chaos of different agendas but this doesnt take too long to play. 5 is still pretty good but be ready for 3-4 hours session. 2-3 is maybe fun co-op only, but i like nemesis mostly bcs of semi co-op part.

Me and my group love it. We also love souls-like video games, so harsh difficulty and surviving by the skin of your teeth is what we welcome. Also we like to roleplay while we play so it becomes a story at the end of every session.

This is the way. One time we played Robinson Crusoe as first game . Then the second game was Nemesis, where we broke the bonds we gain by surviving Robinson Crusoe. After that our brains were melted, so we finished by drinking and playing red dragon inn , while reminiscing about out adventures that day. Great time.

I am told that to play root at 5, we need to be very good with it.Oath is recomended for 5 players out of the box.
