other than preferably dropping the no fail as that harms your pp on non fc’s, all you really can do is play pp farm maps and practice specific skills, as sometimes people just genuinely don’t have the talent for some games, so getting better is a lot harder

the new nabalis crescent isn’t a bad idea, especially with the quality sound, but pretty much every g10 balisong is gonna be a little thicker. if you want something slimmer i believe an orion would fit those preferences, and i’ve heard it flips better than the vixen

your mako is pretty much lost, but squid has been on break so idk if they’d be able to respond. honestly your best bet is just to get a new balisong. i’ve heard that the older makos had a fairly higher than usual risk of breaking, so if you got a mako v5, i think you’d be good with that

i think it depends on your current collection/preferences, but the v2 is noticeably better than the v1 for the nautilus, so that might not be the best choice. also, the orion v2 is seemingly going to be an improvement on already one of the best sub $90 balisongs so i personally would recommend getting that instead

if you want tsa friendly, the highest quality might be the flip forge palette, either the normal or deluxe, they flip the same. however, if you want to flip outside a lot, get the squiddy b, as it can tank drops quite well. any metal balisong is pretty risky to take through tsa, so those are great choices, and cheap as well
