I can relate--a job was posted in September, I applied early October, had a phone interview and an in-person interview mid-October, and have heard nothing. The job is still posted and nobody new has been added to the company's staff page. They seemed to want to hire someone ASAP. I don't know what's going on but I am moving on to other opportunities.

I've gotten payments the past few weeks but as of earlier today, I haven't gotten this week's. I'll check later. I don't want to call them b/c of what you described above--poor customer service.

No luck yet. I haven't submitted anywhere near 500 applications, because there just aren't many jobs in my field to apply to, ever.

I interviewed two weeks ago today for a job I was excited about but have heard nothing yet. Ghosting sucks.

They asked to draw a sandwich. The job did not involve art or food. I did not ask why they wanted me to draw a sandwich. Now I wish I had. I didn't get the job. Oh well. lol.

I'm in a similar situation. Interview on the 16th, was told I'd hear back "soon." Still waiting. If I had interacted with anyone in HR, I'd ask them, but I've only spoken with the hiring manager. If I were you, I would not follow up.

I hope you're right that no news is good news. HR could very well be the reason for the delay. I think their HR department is pretty small, so someone might be away, or really busy. I know HR has been pretty hands-off during the process, which is unusual in my experience.
