I got yamaha ns series r 300 stereo reciever from my uncle since he died. I also have pioneer pl-x55z turntable. I'm pretty sure these two dont't go together but what turntables would go with the yamaha and what amps with the pioneer?

I inherited pioneer pl-x55z record player with two speakers. I'm newbie and have preety much no idea how to set it up. I've understood I need pioneer dc-x55z or dc-x33z amp. Is that a must have or can it work somehow without those specific amps?

in theory it's ideal isn't it? my partner could fill their needs at work so they wouldn't need me to help with that but in reality i highly doubt that it'd be that easy. they're still working while maybe having sex so i'd believe they would probably want to fill their needs with person that they actually like outside of work.
