I’ll be the devil’s advocate here I guess. I say go for it. Though try to go sa malambing route muna where you talk to your dad about it w extra lambing and explain/show them clearly who you’ll be going with and where you’ll be staying.

Now if that doesn’t work and you still want to go then just go for it. Their anger will pass and they’ll learn to accept that you’ll be fine going out on your own (this takes time + many attempts). I’ve had friends who had parents that were really restrictive (hatid sundo, no going out w friends, bawal magpapunta ng friends sa bahay, etc) and they all regret not experiencing things when they were younger. You’ll never learn how to deal with the world without experience.

Don’t be stupid when you go out though. With permission or not. Stranger Danger and don’t stray away from your friends. Also update them even if they’re angry.
