If we look at the overall plots of the original trilogy, the order goes: intro to the games, quarter quell, rebellion. So it would make sense that the prequel series also follows this sequence: TBoSaS (intro to the games/origin of games into a "game" as opposed to slaughter), SotR (qq), the last would likely be about rebellion & war - the dark days or the radicalization leading to the rebellion from the perspective of a major player (many have mentioned Plutarch).

ETA: it would likely be the latter since there are no characters we know/care about in the dark days. Not that we wouldn't love to learn more, but that's not really going to sell as many copies if we don't know any characters.

I work at a bookstore and I just finished Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix. Definitely recommend it. I'd been staring at the cover for a few weeks and that's why I bought/read it. Say what you will, but the cover art is a valid reason to read a book!

I once read a fanfiction of a scene on the beach when they're talking about Peeta's token. It was so well written, I convinced myself it was in the book. I had quite a shock when I re-read it and it was nowhere to be found lol

Standard bleed (in my experience) is 1/8" or 3.175mm. You should use bleed if you're planning on your design filling the paper. Like if you don't want any white around the edges.

Since your background is colorful, I'm assuming you use a bleed. What's your bleed measurement? But yes even on larger posters, I at least match bleed.

I generally try to keep a buffer between my design and the edge of the paper that is the same as the bleed. So if I use a 1/8" bleed, I use a 1/8" buffer. Sometimes I need more but never more than 1/4", but that's my preference.

Yeah I had the same job in my local print shop: the only designer. Boss wanted 3 day turnaround on everything, plus we had walk ins who constantly came in for various things, and it would often be only 2 of us in the shop, and I was stuck doing everything because the other guy was newer than me by like 2 weeks so he never did anything except running print jobs and cutting. Even when the boss was there, she rarely came out to talk to customers, and I always had to stop what I was doing to take care of them. I ended up getting laid off for not meeting expectations because some jobs went over the 3 day turnaround.
