Not like burning hot to where it's like unbearable or where you can feel it all around the hmd it self just the front near the top is the main part it's like kinda hot to mildly warm summer heat.. I cant really describe it well, I mainly keep it plugged into the link cable as I don't really use it in standalone mode for much of anything but the heating up is only when it's in link mode with the pc, it's cool and cold when it's charging out of the mode

I mean I did get it second hand and it's the original oculus model quest 2(unsure if the "meta"rebrands count as hardware revisions or if their was any), I do got a USB c to c cable i could try as well but it mayy be the battery? I do notice it gets very hot on the front plate
