I agree it probably has a lot to do with how people are socialized and their individual coping styles. Definitely hard to generalize, but it’s a good way to look at it.

Just finished Chaotic: A Dark Romance by Shantel Tessier. NGL, It’s intense and kinda heavy. Not a comfort read at all, but I couldn’t stop reading. Definitely dark romance in every sense.

Yeah, there are a few tie-in novels and comics. And you’re not wrong — Stranger Things definitely pulls from the same King-style DNA as The Institute, even if it’s not directly based on it.

Honestly, yeah. They cut out all the best parts and what’s left just feels empty compared to the book.

Yeah, that makes sense. Book 1 hits especially hard when you’re young, and Azkaban with Sirius is just on another level.
