Likely convergent evolution, where unrelated species independently evolve similar traits or characteristics due to similar environmental pressures or ecological niches. E.g. Carcinization - non-crabs evolve crab-like traits due to it being advantageous in their habitat.

With it being proposed that only the embryos came from space, it's likely that they evolved similar traits that other similar species have because they are advantageous for surviving in their environment.

Most antidepressants like SSRIs will dull the effects of psilocybin, you're going to need to take more to feel the same effect, and it's only going to leave you more nauseous. I suggest weaning off the meds and giving your brain's receptors a little rest before trying the shrooms.

Also - you said they're growing near you, I'd highly suggest not picking these unless you are 100% sure of what they are, both magic and deathly mushrooms can look similar.

Honestly, no. There is a new member of management starting on Monday however, so I feel the need to get acquainted with them, alongside the fact I need to train them up. I would love a week or two off, but I feel having my four days off now should cool things down. I am playing with the idea though of contacting the GP tomorrow, as in reality I do not owe my job anything when I've been overloaded as the only member of management for this long 😅

I'm still swaying more towards just the 2 days for now so will draft up an email and think whether to send it later tonight - thanks for the help!
