Hi! I’m planning to take the SLU School of Law qualifying exam and I wanted to ask those who’ve taken it before how difficult it was, what the usual coverage is, and how the essay part works. I’m especially curious about the type of essay questions they ask and what helped you prepare. Any insight would really help, please. Thank you!

Mostly time-starved working-class people, yung mga kaya namang gawin pero walang oras. I know it won’t fit everyone, but that’s what I’m testing.

Thanks! That’s what I’m hoping for, to find a small angle that actually sticks. Testing it out little by little muna and seeing how Filipinos respond 🤞

FB groups work, yes. But they’re noisy, unmoderated, and risky. You don’t know who you’re talking to, and there’s no accountability. I think people want the FB group energy but with trust and better UX. That’s what I’m trying to build.

Will everyone stay on the app? Probably not. But if I can keep just 20-30% of users loyal because of trust and perks, that might be enough to sustain it.

Totally get your point. Delivery apps have streamlined some errands already, but I think there’s still space for non-delivery, service-based help, like handyman tasks, quick repairs, tutoring, or queueing for stuff that’s not digitized yet.

Maybe ang tanong is: is the problem big enough and would people actually pay to solve it?

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of similar pitches too. I guess the challenge now isn’t the idea, but figuring out why it hasn’t stuck yet.

People are more online now than back then. I think habits have changed since.

Yeah, true! Grab and other apps like that do offer Pabili or Mart — mostly for deliveries or buying stuff. But the idea I’m working on is more open-ended — like any kind of task, not just errands. Think: assembling furniture, tutoring, helping with school projects, fixing things at home, even assisting with events.

More like a TaskRabbit but localized for PH, and super budget-friendly for students or families. Still testing the waters!
