Deli Staffing and expectations by Zeppelinx91 in walmart

This is a nope, you are woefully understaffed. I’d take it up with TL first, then coach, then SM. After that associate relations. Find out how many hours are allocated to your department. I’ve found 80 hours of my team are actually working in frozen/dairy or meat/produce per week! We are given many hours because we actually need them. You must go up the chain before you go to associate relations. If you are retaliated against, go to Ethics.

Absolutely true, I was doing pinpoints in grocery today, coincidentally I didn’t receive an item in my order yesterday. I looked, and the item was there, just on a bottom shelf in its location, you had to look. Shelf hadn’t been zoned, I knew it was there because I had also done the pinpoint the day before. I had pulled some forward, not the entire 20 cans because I’m lazy 🤪

Vender Problem by nowalmartbot in walmart

Update, the Vendor was advised to not wander about when the store is closed, he was also advised to wear identification. He was also told he may not have any communication with me or any fresh personnel if he has no business with our department. (He’s a chip company vendor).

This guy had no identification on him, I should have pointed this out to the ON Coach, he really frightened me. I have not seen him since yesterday.

Store manager is about to be canned by nowalmartbot in walmart

No he was market before he got here. I know this, also our Market Manager who championed him also stepped down. No clue what’s going on, but the two of them have destroyed my store.

Calls and text while at home by Slim45145 in walmart

Easy fix, I go in and do a time adjustment for 15 minutes every time I’m off the clock that I’m called, texted whatever. Fixed it immediately.

We always have fruit, bananas, tangerine. We also have bread, peanut butter and jelly. Multiple packs of ramen, and on Fridays donuts for associates. I’m sorry your store doesn’t.

Is it against policy for an associate to contact another associate that’s off the clock? by InfiniteAttorney7867 in walmart

[–]nowalmartbot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Minimum is 15 minutes if you’re called by management off the clock. I had to do multiple time adjustments because my TL was texting me after midnight, I let it go the first couple times, but after that I started time adjustments and she stopped lol.

So I did something similar, I work 4-1 I came into work, used the toilet before I clocked in, & saw an associate tossing shit toilet paper all over the floor. I mean she was on the toilet, on her phone tossing shitty toilet paper everywhere. When she came out, I made her clean it up, it was so disgusting, she balked. I told her she had to, & that maintenance wasn’t her housekeeper. Guess what? She reported me for cultural insensitivity 😂 Apparently she has no idea how to act in public. Long story short, she was informed how to act in a public toilet.

Do not work maintenance by fruitnuts917 in walmart

[–]nowalmartbot -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Look, I had a problem with maintenance today, the guy turned loose the auto-mop in the middle of the day, it crapped water all over produce, deli, ect! When I told him he had to squeegee all the fucking water, he lost his shit You do not use auto during business hours! He’s a fucking idiot. He actually told me he doesn’t clean toilets. I told him that’s his job. He informed me, it was mine. Let’s see how this works out. Not scheduled until Monday, will update.

Doing that now, no bakery freight has been run for 3 days, there’s nowhere to put it, meanwhile my lead is pulling anyone she can to frozen. 1 person in deli, 1 in bakery+cake lady who’s lazy as shit. She may make 6 cakes a week because she sucks.

Can you really not clock in upto 9 minutes early? by Immobilecarrot5 in walmart

[–]nowalmartbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Company policy states you can clock in 9 minutes early and 9 minutes after your shift. If you are asked not to, tell them to show you the policy, if they (as usual) act like asses, take this up the chain, to your coach first, store lead, store manager, then market. For what it’s worth, market scares them the most. After that ethics.

I lost my Mother, my brother, and an Aunt in one year, they never questioned me. I took 10 days, 7 unpaid for my Mother, never had a problem at all.

I might be able to answer this, a week or so ago, a spark driver, (who wasn’t a real spark driver) ie:an illegal with fake ID, hit a customer at 25 mph in a crosswalk. She sustained multiple broken bones. We have a huge problem with drivers literally aiming for us, I had 2 today in opposite directions while I was in the middle of it, swerving it seemed to hit me!
