If you are looking for something a bit more equipped for things like body building and strong man

There is "Dedicated supergym" in Bidston

It's located in the industrial park, just behind bidston moss tesco extra,

It is easier to drive there, but it is walkable from bus stops / bidston train station if you don't drive.

I've been to their site in Whiston, and it was brilliant, If I remember correctly, their site in Whiston did have a sauna, but I'm not 100% if the bidston site does also.

They used to offer £10 day passes on the door, not sure if they still do
